Lost friendship

2006 (BY) by Alexander Karalevich is a larp about lost friendship, about people who were tightly connected by a common activity, who faced everything together, but gradually started losing the feeling of unity. The larp brings up the following questions: what part of our past should we leave with us and is it possible to hold the time?

When the time didn’t exist, they were best friends. They shared the best and the worst in their lives, the first discoveries and the following disappointments, the first feats and the last betrayals. Then they started feeling time, they found aims and changes. And, subtly, they started drifting apart. For some more time they kept seeing each other, then they started making appointments, then they didn’t pick up the phone, then they realized that everything they had together is gone. But is it? Maybe, if they meet again and have this hear-to-hear talk, they will go back to 2006 where the time and the world didn’t exist and there wasn’t career, children, emigration and death?

-Hi! -Hello! -How are you? -You see… -Yeah… -Yeah… -OK, see you, then! -Yes, see you! -Let’s get in touch some time! -Sure!
