This larp is about the kind of break up that changes everything, even
the past. It explores the destructive dynamics between two parents
during and after divorce and how conflict has become the essence of
their new relationship. By playing the conflict in reverse, the players
get to unfold, and maybe even untangle, the reasons and emotions that
have made them lose sight of things more important than themselves.<br />
<br />
The larp is played in pairs, with high intensity and close intimacy.
Mina and Linton have drawn inspiration for this larp from their work as
divorce attorneys specialised in child custody cases. </p><p> By Linton Kennegård and Mina Svärd <br /></p><p> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivJE3Jm0b_Tor7kXvIF69AHDpCXbEh38kQY8BXNQUoU2zHOzz3kRGLRZRrkLnBC2fJ47f1l6uoyf2xp5dK-inPnfh6p30mi_Sw0uGyqnlqj9ZIGf_UL9XulwKXaA7Dcvefd7pTAP87lUgGs2hqGx-OXzJ2eTt7_8FJdKXEqBwe6XFiB1n7ihQ9BRLQxvU/s500/truly_madly_deeply.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="500" data-original-width="500" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivJE3Jm0b_Tor7kXvIF69AHDpCXbEh38kQY8BXNQUoU2zHOzz3kRGLRZRrkLnBC2fJ47f1l6uoyf2xp5dK-inPnfh6p30mi_Sw0uGyqnlqj9ZIGf_UL9XulwKXaA7Dcvefd7pTAP87lUgGs2hqGx-OXzJ2eTt7_8FJdKXEqBwe6XFiB1n7ihQ9BRLQxvU/w640-h640/truly_madly_deeply.jpg" width="640" /></a></p>LodBekehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09002064946095740929noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4532751111806755366.post-50380953271549638362023-09-30T09:18:00.004+02:002023-10-03T15:24:17.233+02:00Superrealism<p>In a remote country house, you hesitate. The esoteric new age self-development seminar is about to begin. <br /><br />Promptly, however, the escalating ceremony leaves your ego behind. The spiritual pilgrims begin to hungrily explore the associative, symbolic, and synesthetic planes of remedy. <br /><br />Whisper! Mumble! Cry out! <br /><br />Far in the distance, the Mountain grows and growls. To find its heart, the pilgrims need to traverse surrealist scenes of avant-garde innovation. Gratefully, they are aided. The music of the world is their wind, their bodies are the wings. <br /><br />Pace! Skip! Swirl! <br /><br />Yet, the path is uncertain. Will the pilgrims ever find the Blackbird of the Ridge? The infinite emotional expression of self-dissolving unity? The moment that they could call the present? <br /><br />Superrealism is an experimental game about looking for and finding. The game involves movement and embodied expression.</p><p> By Lauri Lukka </p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzq4qgobhWX0l5wap2_h0SkS5QzKwoXXQlINq4yATfrMfatCBPlzxm51VO6PDOjlsrKx-Gel410DjO5w8hyphenhyphen04iJUkVI_ku7ILz4m2Q8Mn7-Ipo8Z9u8KFAlcp1swonZ7o3t6cv4PSkER02fhM7yDQ9ovnhKrImtSc0P9TeEsPbs_CjG-d1ItxRU8fN_yw/s814/Screenshot%202023-09-30%20at%2010-17-20%20superrealism.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="467" data-original-width="814" height="368" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzq4qgobhWX0l5wap2_h0SkS5QzKwoXXQlINq4yATfrMfatCBPlzxm51VO6PDOjlsrKx-Gel410DjO5w8hyphenhyphen04iJUkVI_ku7ILz4m2Q8Mn7-Ipo8Z9u8KFAlcp1swonZ7o3t6cv4PSkER02fhM7yDQ9ovnhKrImtSc0P9TeEsPbs_CjG-d1ItxRU8fN_yw/w640-h368/Screenshot%202023-09-30%20at%2010-17-20%20superrealism.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><p></p><p><br /></p>LodBekehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09002064946095740929noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4532751111806755366.post-7393493406294180152023-09-30T09:11:00.000+02:002023-09-30T09:11:41.251+02:00Shadows of the Forgotten<p>“Shadows of the Forgotten” is a larp about passion, family, regret, fate, hope, and death in a small Ukrainian village nested in the heart of the Carpathian mountains. It is inspired by the novel Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors by Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi, and the iconic 1965 movie of the same name.<br /></p><p>As players, you will take part in rituals and family drama in a place forgotten by time, where the line between the mundane and the sacred blurs. The genre is magical realism: everyday village life coexists with forest spirits, witchcraft, and the Shadows of the dead. Together we play out five seasons of the village's life: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, and then Spring again. Each season begins with the community gathering for a traditional ritual. The rest of the season is free play, allowing players to explore their character's relations and conflicts as they change with the passage of time </p><p>Players will receive a pre-written character of a villager. Most characters can be played by players of any gender. No preparation is required. Wear white or neutral-colored clothing.</p><p>By Kateryna Esterle, Hanna Gomenyuk,Daria Kroshka, Katherine Sas, Maksym Tiseiko and Anastasiia Zotova</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCffQcCYVBpd3tpDdFL6NriM9IMV6LPwX49-epM6CCyMg2aESr2ORxVctNZg_XwR9HQQNpGnxIgR6XBmcbCthgLTShjG9VSPM3LKL7fzSN97SgtVn0FDOjmonoWYQl6BhrFvmvnBuskYXmqBHzZ_Y0T5CHxdRZKv0PCUispL3eZ6A-j623GSzAo3LHJNE/s3496/poster%20with%20logo.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2480" data-original-width="3496" height="454" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCffQcCYVBpd3tpDdFL6NriM9IMV6LPwX49-epM6CCyMg2aESr2ORxVctNZg_XwR9HQQNpGnxIgR6XBmcbCthgLTShjG9VSPM3LKL7fzSN97SgtVn0FDOjmonoWYQl6BhrFvmvnBuskYXmqBHzZ_Y0T5CHxdRZKv0PCUispL3eZ6A-j623GSzAo3LHJNE/w640-h454/poster%20with%20logo.png" width="640" /></a></div><br /> <p></p>LodBekehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09002064946095740929noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4532751111806755366.post-79905892179561737772023-09-25T09:08:00.001+02:002023-10-05T12:42:32.209+02:00Omløp<p>A sensory science fiction larp played in a sauna.<br /><br />We are in The Future and The Skinn Library is one of the most well known public institutions in the world. Almost everyone uses their services. In The Future people can experience the world through a variety of bodies by borrowing bodies from The Skinn Library. A person’s memory and personality is stored on a chip that can be moved from one body to another.<br /><br />Omløp is about a group of librarians who work at a local branch of The Skinn Library who have received a batch of returned bodies from borrowers. Today they are inhabiting these bodies to cleanse and ready them for new borrowers.<br /><br />The larp will have a workshop where we go through how we will play the larp and create characters together. We then move to a sauna where the larp itself will be played. This larp will not focus on conflict or relationship drama but on bodily sensations, physical memories and collegiality.<br /><br />The larp is played nude in a sauna.<br /><br />By Frida Sofie Jansen, Grethe Sofie Bulterud Strand and Tor Kjetil Edland </p><p>Image by Astrid Solgaard <br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiM5d1_RPLuLtH3qULIhQzQObhc0gSUAizqXXcy9_wU1Cxr8-PBDqtwRgkPYD6G4rcJRbpccqrRIH7xYVdnbw-44Igmz2l28Em7rNfx7z4ai7dDAxIQbH_umFUkrS6N8FPP6DN8Q2gYMBjuj-MEMBov5itulwPura9S_qNjEPeG3pVzQaqgE4u3G3Hn3Sw/s3628/DSC_9377_2.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2592" data-original-width="3628" height="458" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiM5d1_RPLuLtH3qULIhQzQObhc0gSUAizqXXcy9_wU1Cxr8-PBDqtwRgkPYD6G4rcJRbpccqrRIH7xYVdnbw-44Igmz2l28Em7rNfx7z4ai7dDAxIQbH_umFUkrS6N8FPP6DN8Q2gYMBjuj-MEMBov5itulwPura9S_qNjEPeG3pVzQaqgE4u3G3Hn3Sw/w640-h458/DSC_9377_2.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>LodBekehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09002064946095740929noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4532751111806755366.post-33338067429407873412023-09-21T11:51:00.001+02:002023-09-21T14:24:40.103+02:00Benediction<p> This larp is about a group of medieval nuns who are told that in five days their abbey will be blessed with a visit from a travelling priest and miracle worker. The priest is making his way through the plague-ridden countryside to deliver a sermon. As they anticipate his benediction, the nuns ruminate on their feelings about themselves, the others, God, and the arrival of the vagabond priest, which has awakened in them unprecedented fears and desires. The larp features some nonverbal play, ritual repetition, and crazy dream sequences. <br /><br /> Content warnings: blasphemy, graphic language, sexual subtext </p><p>Designed by Laura op de Beke, Una Hamilton Helle, Sille Storihle, and OddHelge Gravalid.</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRfgbDNbnSNXKbJT0ruHEA4xIHMcmAjRG69nCsYyQXEKsBtIbGZQu-EeikoL7HdFTKEuKuApZGIlrIqqLVSN0yL6wGEu_t4olwKNAAZGocl8VTH7kvFWmhBdhxh-imewHSsc_j2t8vo_vr6ijnju_hwP-jXZ0KNBBcksdqajy9TRHGpraxOYD_2RP3ufA/s620/At-the-chorus-009.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="372" data-original-width="620" height="384" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRfgbDNbnSNXKbJT0ruHEA4xIHMcmAjRG69nCsYyQXEKsBtIbGZQu-EeikoL7HdFTKEuKuApZGIlrIqqLVSN0yL6wGEu_t4olwKNAAZGocl8VTH7kvFWmhBdhxh-imewHSsc_j2t8vo_vr6ijnju_hwP-jXZ0KNBBcksdqajy9TRHGpraxOYD_2RP3ufA/w640-h384/At-the-chorus-009.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p><style type="text/css">p { line-height: 115%; text-align: left; orphans: 2; widows: 2; margin-bottom: 0.1in; direction: ltr; background: transparent }p.western { so-language: en-GB }</style></p>LodBekehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09002064946095740929noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4532751111806755366.post-37947732961147997802023-09-11T10:00:00.001+02:002023-09-11T10:00:00.149+02:00Getting Hitched<p><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #202124; letter-spacing: 0.2px; white-space-collapse: preserve;">It’s the day of the big party before Jessica finally marries Kevin! Larp designers do not have to pay a participant fee, but have to pay for the travel themselves. We do however have a fund that can give travel grants to 4-6 designers who otherwise cannot afford to travel to Norway. Costs for props can also be reimbursed by the festival. If you want to stay in Oslo without paying for a hotel or hostel, it is usually possible to find a host among the local larpers if you post on the facebook-event some weeks before the festival. For designers, the Grenselandet organizers may also help out with this.</div>Martin Nielsenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02686893962783951747noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4532751111806755366.post-19848159102631946762022-12-07T11:08:00.003+01:002022-12-07T11:08:45.999+01:00Ancient HoursTwo demi-gods, Love and Memory, are being held captive by humans on different sides of the globe. B.Y.O.B. is a comedy larp designed by Yauheniya Siadova, Nastassia Sinitsyna, and Alisa Matavilava. It tells the story of childhood friends who are now adults, between 30–35 years old. They love to party and drink a lot. However all of them have strong reasons to quit drinking. Tonight is their last chance to have a raging drinking session and to look back on all the crazy stuff they've done.<div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvujtyvLIjQGYbNzELpv1ISz9L_yyRWkcSLa2Ti0xMbPnD7gP43MDpV4FEWtgushIBJFEKYpXvZXvGi9Rd7FcmyyAPmjzGPz-9iwmLX8Ylib2AztWXXPYTbfKB3wrMUPM6UE4jwTCLzdOplrISR-BPl7kBinppjvb9BsZ04Ta99tjkCSwW3pZaPSLs/s4012/aftermath.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2072" data-original-width="4012" height="330" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvujtyvLIjQGYbNzELpv1ISz9L_yyRWkcSLa2Ti0xMbPnD7gP43MDpV4FEWtgushIBJFEKYpXvZXvGi9Rd7FcmyyAPmjzGPz-9iwmLX8Ylib2AztWXXPYTbfKB3wrMUPM6UE4jwTCLzdOplrISR-BPl7kBinppjvb9BsZ04Ta99tjkCSwW3pZaPSLs/w640-h330/aftermath.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div><br /></div></div>LodBekehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09002064946095740929noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4532751111806755366.post-84941046034678253032022-12-05T10:37:00.006+01:002022-12-05T10:37:49.988+01:00Seaside PrisonSeaside Prison is set in an alternative reality where Åland Islands are under military siege like real world Gaza. You play a new being in a vast universe. This much you know: Your people explore the cosmos by sending new beings like you and your fellows into it, to build themselves and be built by the places they encounter. You are essentially a blank slate. Tabula rasa. Through different stages of observation and ritual, your people can adapt and assimilate to any environment.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2qdxJdqWfsc_lsDLhLQD6c1um6qb7A61dfunpiF1KjT_qv_X-xZRGI8yM9M6B3SHSo1SmsLYrQGoyWUoS2kiARByQBACrHZbHSCKSWh28sb9DQg9KMfsWVJdQJBTdWkmdGT5gZLu-ICMk5FedDgPRqNevlfDlOzLcegYtNDfaAJokfZxzJQyWmCVh/s5616/greg-rakozy-oMpAz-DN-9I-unsplash.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3744" data-original-width="5616" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2qdxJdqWfsc_lsDLhLQD6c1um6qb7A61dfunpiF1KjT_qv_X-xZRGI8yM9M6B3SHSo1SmsLYrQGoyWUoS2kiARByQBACrHZbHSCKSWh28sb9DQg9KMfsWVJdQJBTdWkmdGT5gZLu-ICMk5FedDgPRqNevlfDlOzLcegYtNDfaAJokfZxzJQyWmCVh/w640-h426/greg-rakozy-oMpAz-DN-9I-unsplash.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>LodBekehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09002064946095740929noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4532751111806755366.post-25390618754833267522022-12-05T10:16:00.001+01:002022-12-05T10:16:16.637+01:00The Things We Left BehindRegardless of our varied reasons to migrate, the journey always begins with packing. While some might have the luxury of time and the resources to contemplate what to bring, others only have only a moment’s notice to take what they can. You gather to decide on a course of action after crucial events happen in localized areas. How the future will unfold is dependent on your choices, and all of you wish to have your voice heard. You are like a big family, but like in every family, there are tensions, unspoken allegiances and disagreements.<br /><br />Will wild animals take over the urban landscape?
